BedStory 12-Inch King Hybrid Mattress Alternatives: 6 Similar Picks Compared

How each alternative compares

FP Flexpedic 12 Inch Full Hybrid Mattress

The FP Flexpedic 12-Inch Full Hybrid shifts your focus from a King to a Full size, measuring 54 by 75 inches. This makes it suitable for single sleepers or smaller rooms rather than couples. Like the original, it offers medium firm support and CertiPUR-US certified foams. However, it weighs less at 66 pounds, which may simplify setup. It targets plus-size sleepers needing strong edge reinforcement. If you do not need the extra width of a King bed, this Full size provides durable support while saving floor space. It lacks the cooling gel layer found in the original, so temperature regulation may differ.

Novilla King Hybrid 12 Inch

The Novilla 12-Inch King Hybrid matches the original in size, firmness, and construction type. It also uses CertiPUR-US certified foams and targets motion isolation. The key difference lies in its emphasis on reinforced edges and zoned support. While the original focuses on spinal alignment for back and side sleepers, the Novilla prioritizes edge stability for couples. It features a White and Grey color scheme. If you value strong perimeter support for sitting on the edge of the bed, this model may suit you better. Both offer a 12-inch profile, but the Novilla’s specific zoned design targets different pressure points than the original’s cooling gel approach.

Avenco 12-Inch Medium Firm King Hybrid Mattress

The Avenco 12-Inch Medium Firm King Hybrid shares the same King dimensions and medium firm feel as the original. It also uses CertiPUR-US certified foams and targets motion isolation for couples. The Avenco emphasizes durable edge reinforcement and cooling capabilities. It weighs 84.3 pounds, slightly lighter than the original’s 101 pounds. The original includes cooling gel memory foam, while the Avenco highlights general cooling features. If you need robust edge support and a lighter weight, the Avenco is a practical alternative. Both models are designed for side and back sleepers, but the Avenco’s focus on edge durability may benefit those who frequently sit on the mattress.

SayTale 12-Inch King Hybrid Mattress

The SayTale 12-Inch King Hybrid offers the same King size and medium firm construction as the original. It also uses CertiPUR-US certified foams and targets motion isolation. The SayTale weighs 97 pounds, close to the original’s 101 pounds. It features a Grey color scheme. The original includes cooling gel memory foam, whereas the SayTale emphasizes breathable materials and spinal alignment. If you prioritize spinal alignment and standard cooling over the specific gel infusion of the original, this model fits your needs. Both are designed for couples, but the SayTale’s focus on breathability may appeal to hot sleepers who do not require the specific gel technology of the BedStory.

PurrJoys 12-Inch California King Hybrid Mattress

The PurrJoys 12-Inch California King Hybrid differs in size, measuring 84 by 72 inches, which is narrower and longer than the original’s 76 by 80 inches. It maintains the medium firm feel and CertiPUR-US certification. This model targets back pain relief and spinal alignment on a California King frame. If you have a longer torso or a California King bed, this is the appropriate choice. The original is standard King size. The PurrJoys focuses on pressure relief and consistent support through its hybrid coil and foam construction. It is not suitable for standard King frames. Choose this if your bed frame requires the specific California King dimensions.

BedStory Cocoon 12-Inch Medium Firm Full Mattress

The BedStory Cocoon 12-Inch Medium Firm Full Mattress is a Full size option, measuring 54 by 74 inches, compared to the original’s King dimensions. It shares the same medium firm feel and CertiPUR-US certification. It targets lumbar support and motion isolation for couples in a smaller space. If you do not need the width of a King bed, this Full size provides targeted support for side and back sleepers. It weighs 64 pounds, making it easier to handle. The original is designed for larger spaces and couples needing more room. This alternative offers the same brand quality but in a compact size suitable for smaller bedrooms or single sleepers.
