Who it fits

Key specs explained for this mattress

Size: King (U.S. Standard)

This mattress measures 76 inches wide and 80 inches long. You get ample sleeping space for two adults or a family sharing a bed. The width allows you to move freely without disturbing a partner. This size fits standard king frames and bed rails. It is larger than a queen, providing more room for stretching out comfortably during the night.

Thickness: 14 in

The mattress stands 14 inches tall from the floor. This height provides a substantial profile that sits well on most bed frames, including adjustable bases and platform styles. A thicker build often signals more comfort layers between the support core and your body. It ensures you do not feel the hard base underneath, offering a balanced blend of elevation and stability for your sleep setup.

Firmness: Firm

This mattress offers a firm feel that resists sinking. It keeps your spine in a neutral alignment, which is helpful for back and stomach sleepers who need strong support. The firm surface prevents your hips from sagging too deeply into the bed. You may prefer this over a plush model if you want a stable, solid feel that distributes weight evenly across the sleep surface.

Comfort Layer: Cooling gel-infused foam

The comfort layer contains foam infused with cooling gel to help manage heat. This material absorbs and dissipates body warmth, keeping your sleep surface cooler throughout the night. It works alongside the breathable cover to improve air circulation. This feature is useful if you tend to sleep hot or live in a warm climate, helping you stay comfortable without relying on external cooling devices.

Design and build details

According to the listing, the FANSACE 14-Inch Firm King Hybrid Mattress is a hybrid construction. It combines pocket springs with gel-infused foam. The comfort layer includes a breathable Euro Top cover. This design aims to balance cooling and support. The firm feel targets spinal alignment and muscle relaxation. You get a stable surface that reduces motion transfer from a partner. The independent pocket springs isolate movement effectively. This layout suits shared bedrooms and light sleepers who need undisturbed rest.

The mattress measures 14 inches in height, 76 inches in width, and 80 inches in length. It weighs 74.2 pounds. The substantial height suggests a plush profile, while the firmness ensures you do not sink too deeply. The weight indicates a dense build, which may require two people for setup. The listing notes a maximum weight capacity of 1200 pounds. This durability supports various body types and sleeping positions. The five-layer design includes specific cushioning for the waist and back. Sturdy anti-sagging support runs along the edges. This feature helps maintain the usable sleep surface near the perimeter.

The bed arrives compressed in a box. This format simplifies transportation and storage. It fits standard bed frames, including platforms, adjustable bases, and slat foundations. The listing advises keeping a safe distance during expansion to avoid rapid bouncing. The grey and black color scheme offers a neutral look. The materials are selected to be free of fiberglass and harmful substances. This construction choice prioritizes a healthy sleep environment for you and your family.

Setup and Daily Use Guide

This mattress arrives compressed in a box, which simplifies transport and initial setup. You can place it on standard bed frames, including platforms, adjustable bases, and slat foundations. The listing notes universal compatibility with these common support types. When you open the package, keep a safe distance. The foam expands rapidly upon release, and the listing warns that the mattress could bounce upward if you are too close. Allow the foam to fully expand before sleeping on it.

Once set up, the 14-inch thickness and firm feel provide a stable surface. The hybrid construction uses individually pocketed springs to offer motion isolation. This means movements from a partner are absorbed, reducing disturbance for light sleepers. The gel-infused foam and breathable Euro Top cover work together to dissipate heat. This design helps keep the sleep surface cool during the night.

The mattress supports up to 1200 pounds. The edge support features three rows of anti-sagging springs to maintain stability near the perimeter. The middle layer offers specific cushioning for the waist and back. You get a consistent sleep surface that aims to align the spine. The firm feel suits those who prefer a solid, supportive bed rather than a plush one. The setup is straightforward, and daily use relies on the structural integrity of the springs and foam layers for long-term comfort.

Before you buy this mattress

You need a sturdy base for this 14-inch hybrid. The listing confirms it works with platforms, adjustable frames, and slat foundations. Check that your slats are no more than three inches apart to prevent sagging. This firm king model supports up to 1,200 pounds. You should verify that your room allows for a 76-by-80-inch footprint. Ensure your doorways and stairs can accommodate the boxed delivery. Since it expands rapidly, keep people clear during setup. This option suits shared bedrooms and light sleepers who need motion isolation. It differs from softer models by prioritizing spinal alignment over plush comfort. You will likely need deep-pocket sheets to cover the 14-inch height. The cooling gel foam helps regulate temperature, but you may still want breathable bedding. This bed fits best if you prefer a stable, supportive surface. It stands out among firm hybrids for its multi-layer spring system. Consider your partner’s sleep habits, as the pocket springs reduce disturbance.

Check before you buy

• Confirm your room fits a 76-by-80-inch mattress footprint
• Ensure doorways allow passage of the compressed box
• Check that your bed frame supports 1,200 pounds
