Our top pick: GhostBed Signature 12" Full Medium Foam.
How each alternative compares
Neohavn 12-Inch Full Hybrid Mattress
The Neohavn 12-Inch Full Hybrid Mattress shifts from pure foam to a hybrid construction, which typically offers more bounce and airflow than the GhostBed Signature. Both share a 12-inch thickness and medium firmness, but Neohavn uses a cooling gel cover rather than GhostBed’s dual Ghost Ice quilted cover. Neohavn weighs 69 pounds, making it heavier than the 57-pound GhostBed. This model targets side sleepers who want motion isolation alongside cooling. If you prefer the feel of coils mixed with foam over all-foam pressure relief, this is a strong alternative. It maintains the CertiPUR-US certification for safe materials.
LIFEMENT 12-Inch Full Cooling Gel Mattress
The LIFEMENT 12-Inch Full Cooling Gel Mattress offers a medium-firm feel, which is firmer than the GhostBed Signature’s medium rating. Both are 12-inch foam mattresses with CertiPUR-US certification and cooling gel covers. LIFEMENT focuses on fiberglass-free comfort, a detail not mentioned for the GhostBed. It is designed for hot sleepers who need reliable pressure relief without the sink of softer foams. The LIFEMENT model lacks a listed weight in the data, whereas the GhostBed weighs 57 pounds. Choose this if you need a firmer surface for better spinal alignment while still wanting cooling technology and easy bed-in-a-box setup.
FATHOM Medium 12 Inch Full Memory Foam
The FATHOM Medium 12 Inch Full Memory Foam matches the GhostBed Signature in thickness, firmness, and medium feel. Both use CertiPUR-US certified foam and feature cooling gel covers. However, FATHOM explicitly targets back pain relief, while GhostBed emphasizes targeted support via its ProCore layer. FATHOM does not list a weight, but the GhostBed weighs 57 pounds. Both are bed-in-a-box models. If your primary goal is alleviating back pain with a straightforward medium-firm foam feel, FATHOM is a direct alternative. It provides similar cooling and pressure relief without the specific dual-cover technology found on the GhostBed.
Celestial Sleep 12 Inch Full Memory Foam Mattress
The Celestial Sleep 12 Inch Full Memory Foam Mattress shares the 12-inch height and medium firmness of the GhostBed Signature. It also uses a cooling gel cover and CertiPUR-US certification. However, Celestial Sleep weighs only 51 pounds, making it lighter than the 57-pound GhostBed. The model is described as suitable for side and back sleepers, whereas GhostBed is geared toward general pressure relief. Celestial Sleep may not support stomach sleepers well. If you want a lighter, softer-feeling foam mattress with similar cooling specs, this is a viable option. It lacks the specific ProCore support layer mentioned for the GhostBed.
RWAEZYBLUX 12-Inch Full Hybrid Mattress
The RWAEZYBLUX 12-Inch Full Hybrid Mattress introduces a hybrid build, differing from the all-foam GhostBed Signature. Both are 12 inches tall, medium-firm in feel (though GhostBed is medium), and feature CertiPUR-US certification. RWAEZYBLUX includes green tea infusion and a cooling gel cover, offering a different scent and cooling profile than GhostBed’s dual Ghost Ice cover. It weighs 53 pounds, slightly less than the GhostBed. This model suits those who want the breathability of a hybrid with added green tea benefits. If you prefer a hybrid construction over pure memory foam, this alternative provides similar pressure relief with distinct material features.
Life Balance Serene 12 Inch Full Hybrid
The Life Balance Serene 12 Inch Full Hybrid offers a medium-firm feel, which is firmer than the GhostBed Signature’s medium rating. Like the GhostBed, it is 12 inches tall and CertiPUR-US certified. However, Life Balance uses a hybrid construction with edge support, a feature not detailed for the GhostBed. It features a white cooling gel cover, whereas GhostBed uses a grey dual Ghost Ice cover. Life Balance targets hot sleepers needing edge support. If you require a firmer surface with enhanced edge stability for sitting or sleeping near the perimeter, this hybrid option is a practical alternative to the all-foam GhostBed model.
