Who it fits

Key specs explained

Thickness: 14 in

This height places the mattress in the standard range for hybrid beds. A 14-inch profile allows for sufficient foam layers over the coil system. You get enough cushioning to sink in slightly without bottoming out. This depth helps distribute your weight evenly across the surface. It is taller than low-profile options, making bed sheets easier to fit. Choose this if you prefer a substantial, plush feel that does not feel flat against the bed frame.

Mattress Construction: Hybrid, pocketed coils with layered foam

This design combines two distinct materials for balanced performance. The pocketed coils provide sturdy support and help air circulate through the bed. The layered foam adds softness and contours to your body shape. This mix prevents the hammock effect common in all-foam beds. It offers better bounce and edge support than pure foam models. Select this construction if you want the cooling benefits of coils with the pressure relief of foam.

Firmness: Medium

A medium firmness level sits between soft and hard. It provides enough give for side sleepers to relieve shoulder pressure. It also offers sufficient resistance for back or stomach sleepers to keep the spine aligned. This balance avoids the extreme sink of soft beds or the rigid feel of firm ones. It is a versatile choice for couples with different preferences. Consider this option if you want a neutral feel that adapts to various sleeping positions.

Intended Use: Light sleepers, couples

The listing targets buyers who share a bed or wake easily. The pocketed coil system isolates motion, so one partner moving does not disturb the other. This feature is critical for couples with different sleep schedules. Light sleepers benefit from the reduced transfer of movement across the mattress. This specification helps you determine if the bed matches your lifestyle. If you toss frequently or have a restless partner, this focus on stability is a key consideration.

Design and build specs

The listing describes a hybrid construction that combines pocketed coils with layered foam. You get a 14-inch thickness, which places this bed in the standard range for hybrid models. This height allows for sufficient foam cushioning over the coil system. You can sink in slightly without bottoming out, which helps distribute body weight evenly across the support layers.

According to the listing, the cover uses a breathable knit fabric. This material choice is intended to enhance airflow through the mattress. The design also incorporates cooling gel foam within the comfort layers. This combination aims to regulate sleep temperature and prevent heat buildup during the night. The medium firmness level is built to balance support with pressure relief for your shoulders, waist, and hips.

You receive the mattress in a compressed box format. The listed weight is 108 pounds for the King size, which measures 76 inches wide and 80 inches long. This size fits standard King frames. The certified foam is fiberglass-free, which simplifies setup and cleaning. You simply unbox the bed and allow up to 72 hours for full expansion before use. The black finish provides a neutral look for most bedrooms.

Setup and everyday use

The mattress arrives compressed in a box to simplify delivery and initial handling. You unbox the unit and place it on your existing bed frame. The listing notes that you should allow up to 72 hours for full expansion. This waiting period ensures the foam layers and coil system reach their intended shape and height. Once expanded, the bed stands 14 inches tall and weighs 108 pounds. This substantial weight provides stability but may require assistance for moving or rotating. The cover features a breathable knit fabric that sits directly against your skin. This material choice supports airflow, working with the internal cooling gel foam to regulate temperature during the night. The hybrid construction combines upgraded pocketed coils with layered memory foam. The coils operate independently, which isolates motion transfer. This means movement on one side of the King-sized bed does not disturb the other side. The medium firmness rating suggests a balanced feel. It aims to align your spine while cushioning pressure points like shoulders and hips. The CertiPUR-US certification indicates the foam meets specific standards for content and emissions. It is also fiberglass-free, which simplifies maintenance and reduces potential irritants. You can place this mattress on most standard King frames. The 76-inch width and 80-inch length fit standard bedding. Daily use involves sleeping on a surface designed for even weight distribution. The thick wire gauge in the coils helps prevent sagging over time. This structure supports heavy-weight sleepers by holding body weight without collapse. The layered foam conforms gently to your body shape. This combination allows for restful sleep without the feeling of sinking too deeply. You benefit from the stable support of the coils and the plush comfort of the foam layers.

Before you buy this hybrid

You should verify that your bed frame supports a 108-pound, 14-inch hybrid mattress. The heavy weight and height require a sturdy foundation to prevent sagging. This model fits standard King dimensions, so check your room layout for clearance. You will need deep-sheet sets that accommodate the 14-inch profile. The breathable knit cover allows for easy spot cleaning, but avoid harsh chemicals to preserve the fabric integrity. Allow 72 hours for full expansion after unboxing. This bed suits couples who value motion isolation and stability. It differs from all-foam options by offering stronger edge support through its upgraded pocketed coils. It also contrasts with high-loft models by maintaining a medium firmness that prevents excessive sinkage. Consider your sleeping position to ensure the medium feel aligns with your pressure relief needs. The CertiPUR-US certification confirms the foam meets safety standards, which is essential for indoor air quality. This specification helps you make an informed choice about long-term health and comfort.
