Gel Cooling vs Natural Fiber
Cooling technology
Novilla Bliss 12-Inch Full Gel Memory Foam Mattress uses NanoGel memory foam to dissipate heat and minimize moisture buildup. It targets hot sleepers with a soft knitted cover made from breathable knit fabric. The comfort layer also includes plant-infused fiber to absorb odor. The Novilla 12-Inch Full Memory Foam Mattress relies on a two-layer foam system with natural fiber infused foam to boost airflow. Its cover uses premium knitted textiles for plush softness and breathability. While the Bliss model uses gel for active cooling, the standard model focuses on airflow through fiber infusion. Both aim for a cool sleep surface, but the Bliss model specifies gel technology for heat dissipation.
Certifications
The Novilla Bliss 12-Inch Full Gel Memory Foam Mattress holds three certifications: CertiPUR-US, ACA, and ISPA. These verify foam safety, skin safety standards for the cover, and compliance with international sleep product quality and durability standards. The Novilla 12-Inch Full Memory Foam Mattress features CertiPUR-US certified foam and an OEKO-TEX certified cover. This dual certification ensures the elimination of harmful substances and promotes a sustainable sleep environment. The Bliss model offers broader verification with the additional ACA and ISPA marks, providing more layers of safety and quality assurance for your sleep surface compared to the standard model's dual focus on foam and cover safety.
Mattress construction
The Novilla Bliss 12-Inch Full Gel Memory Foam Mattress features a three-layer foam design. This includes NanoGel memory foam, a comfort layer, and a support layer to distribute weight and ease tension on pressure points. The Novilla 12-Inch Full Memory Foam Mattress uses a two-layer foam system. It combines natural fiber infused foam with a high-density base foam for balanced comfort and support. The Bliss model’s three-layer approach may offer more nuanced pressure relief and spinal alignment through its distinct comfort and support zones. The standard model’s two-layer system simplifies the build while still aiming for body contouring and airflow. You get a more complex internal structure with the Bliss model.
Cover material
The Novilla Bliss 12-Inch Full Gel Memory Foam Mattress comes with a soft knitted cover crafted from breathable knit fabric. It meets rigorous skin safety standards for a gentle sleep surface. The Novilla 12-Inch Full Memory Foam Mattress features a cover made from premium knitted textiles that deliver plush softness. While both covers use knitted materials for breathability and comfort, the Bliss model explicitly highlights its skin safety certification. The standard model emphasizes the plushness of its premium textiles. Both provide a soft touch, but the Bliss model adds the assurance of verified skin safety standards, making it a slightly more rigorous choice for sensitive skin.
Expansion time
The Novilla Bliss 12-Inch Full Gel Memory Foam Mattress typically regains its full shape within 72 hours after unboxing. Using it sooner may help speed up the expansion process. The Novilla 12-Inch Full Memory Foam Mattress requires 24 to 72 hours to expand and provide ideal support. Both mattresses arrive rolled and compressed in a box for easy setup. The standard model allows for a potentially faster initial expansion, starting as early as 24 hours. The Bliss model specifies a typical 72-hour window, though earlier use is permitted. If you need your bed ready quickly, the standard model offers a slightly broader early-use range, though both require patience for full recovery.
