Specs Compare: Novilla vs Avenco
Thickness and Size
The Novilla Bliss measures 12 inches in height, providing a substantial profile for its Full size frame. In contrast, the Avenco SyncDeep is an 8-inch Queen mattress. This 4-inch difference means the Novilla offers more cushioning depth, which often translates to better pressure relief for side sleepers. The Avenco’s lower profile suits those who prefer a firmer, more traditional feel or need a bed that fits lower frames. You must also consider the footprint; the Novilla is 54 inches wide, while the Avenco is 60 inches wide. If you share a bed, the Avenco’s Queen width provides more personal space, whereas the Novilla’s Full size is tighter but still adequate for one adult or a compact room.
Cooling Technology
Both brands prioritize temperature regulation, but they use different methods. The Novilla Bliss features NanoGel memory foam designed to dissipate heat and minimize moisture buildup. It pairs this with a breathable knit fabric cover to keep the sleep surface cool for hot sleepers. The Avenco SyncDeep takes a structural approach with an Active Breathing Channel. Its open-cell foam core contains thousands of micro-pores to enable free airflow. Additionally, it uses a moisture-release cover that actively wicks sweat away. While Novilla relies on gel infusion, Avenco focuses on airflow through its foam structure. Both methods aim to prevent heat retention, making either a solid choice if you tend to sleep warm.
Cover Maintenance
A key difference lies in how you maintain the sleep surface. The Avenco SyncDeep includes a removable and machine-washable cover. This design allows you to clean the fabric directly, which helps extend mattress freshness and simplifies maintenance over time. The Novilla Bliss comes with a soft-to-touch cover made from breathable knit fabric. However, the data does not specify that this cover is removable or washable. For many buyers, the ability to launder the cover is a significant hygiene advantage. If you prefer low-maintenance cleaning or have allergies, the Avenco’s washable cover offers a practical benefit that the Novilla’s fixed cover does not explicitly provide.
Motion Isolation
Both mattresses utilize memory foam to manage movement, but the Novilla explicitly highlights this feature. Its triple-layer construction is engineered to absorb motion at every level, reducing movement transfer across the bed. This makes it easier for partners to sleep without disruption. The Avenco SyncDeep uses slow-response memory foam that adaptively contours to body curves. While this material generally offers good motion isolation, the product data does not explicitly claim motion transfer reduction as a primary feature. For couples who move frequently during sleep, the Novilla’s dedicated motion isolation design may provide a more consistent experience. The Avenco’s contouring foam still dampens movement, but Novilla makes it a central selling point.
Certifications
Safety and material standards are verified by third-party organizations for both brands. The Novilla Bliss holds CertiPUR-US certification for its foam, along with ACA and ISPA certifications. These verify compliance with international sleep product standards for quality and durability. The Avenco SyncDeep is CertiPUR-US certified for its foam and OEKO-TEX certified for its cover materials. It is also an ISPA member. While both meet rigorous safety standards for foam content, the Avenco adds OEKO-TEX certification for the fabric, ensuring the cover is free from harmful substances. The Novilla adds ACA certification. Both are safe choices, but the Avenco’s dual certification covers both the foam and the textile layers explicitly.
Which Mattress Fits Your Sleep Style
Hot sleepers wanting cooling and edge support
The Novilla Bliss uses NanoGel memory foam to dissipate heat and minimize moisture buildup. Its breathable knit cover aids cooling. Reinforced edge support prevents rolling off the side. The three-layer foam construction isolates motion effectively. This design suits those who sleep hot and need stable edges for getting in and out of bed comfortably.
Shoppers needing a washable cover and airflow
The Avenco SyncDeep features a removable and machine-washable cover for easy maintenance. Its active breathing channel core contains thousands of micro-pores for free airflow. The moisture-release cover wicks sweat away. This setup ensures a cleaner sleep surface year-round and helps keep you dry and cool throughout the night without complex cooling gels.
Buyers preferring a thicker, plush feel
At 12 inches thick, the Novilla Bliss offers more cushioning depth than the 8-inch Avenco. The extra height allows for a cloud-like experience with deeper contouring. The triple-layer foam design distributes weight evenly across pressure points. This substantial profile provides enhanced spinal alignment and a softer, more plush surface for those who like deeper sinkage.
