Novilla vs MLILY: Spec Comparison
Thickness and build
Both the Novilla Bliss and the MLILY EGOHOME measure 12 inches in height. This consistent thickness provides a substantial feel for the sleep surface. The Novilla model weighs 45.1 pounds, while the MLILY option comes in at 44 pounds. These weights suggest similar density and material volume in the foam cores. You get a sturdy base with either choice. The slight weight difference is negligible for setup or moving the bed. Both mattresses are designed to fit standard full and twin frames respectively. You do not need to worry about clearance issues under most bed frames.
Firmness level
The MLILY EGOHOME explicitly lists its firmness as Medium Firm. This specification helps you gauge the support level before purchase, especially if you prefer a firmer sleep surface for back alignment. The Novilla Bliss description focuses on pressure relief and spinal alignment but does not state a specific firmness rating. It describes the feel as cloud-like, which often suggests a softer or plusher feel. If you know you need a Medium Firm feel, the MLILY data provides that certainty. For Novilla, you would need to rely on the pressure-relief claims to infer the feel.
Cover material
The Novilla Bliss uses a soft knitted cover made from breathable knit fabric. This material is designed to help keep the sleep surface cool and comfortable. In contrast, the MLILY EGOHOME features a Graphene technology cover with a nylon feel. This cover is noted for deodorizing and antistatic qualities, along with therapeutic far-infrared fabric properties. You get standard breathability with Novilla, while MLILY offers specialized fabric technology aimed at circulation and odor control. The choice depends on whether you prefer traditional knit comfort or advanced graphene-infused materials.
Certifications and safety
Both brands prioritize safety through CertiPUR-US certification, ensuring the foam is made without harmful substances. Novilla adds ACA and ISPA certifications, verifying compliance with international sleep product standards for quality and durability. MLILY includes an endorsement from the International Chiropractors Association (ICA) and highlights a fiberglass-free inner cover for flame retardancy. The Novilla cover meets rigorous skin safety standards. MLILY emphasizes the absence of fiberglass and other fire-retardant chemicals. You get robust safety backing from both, though the specific organizations differ.
Intended use
Novilla markets the Bliss model specifically for hot sleepers, highlighting its NanoGel memory foam to dissipate heat and minimize moisture buildup. It also focuses on pressure relief for the back and hips. MLILY positions the EGOHOME for back pain relief, aiming to help people achieve a healthier sleep life. While both address comfort, their primary focus differs. If you struggle with overheating, the Novilla cooling features are highlighted. If your main concern is spinal support for back pain, the MLILY designation aligns with that need. You should choose based on your primary sleep discomfort.
Motion isolation
The Novilla Bliss explicitly states that its triple-layer construction works to absorb motion at every level, reducing movement transfer. This feature is beneficial if you share the bed and need to minimize disruption from a partner. The MLILY data does not mention motion isolation capabilities or how its foam layers handle movement. While memory foam generally offers some isolation, the specific claim is only present for Novilla. If minimizing sleep disturbance is a priority for you, the Novilla specification provides that assurance directly.
