You might look for a different height, a hybrid construction, or enhanced cooling features. Some buyers prefer a 12-inch profile for deeper contouring or pocket springs for better airflow. The alternatives listed here overlap with the original in size and firmness level but vary in construction and special features. This guide helps you compare specs to find the best fit for your sleep needs.
How each alternative compares
FATHOM 12-Inch Firm Full Memory Foam Mattress
The FATHOM 12-Inch Firm Full Memory Foam Mattress doubles the height of the Serta Sleeptrue Firm 6 Full. At 12 inches thick, it offers more material for pressure relief while maintaining a firm feel. This extra thickness helps with spinal alignment for back sleepers. The Serta model stops at 6 inches, making it better for tight spaces like trundles. FATHOM includes CertiPUR-US certification and a removable cooling gel cover. You gain durability and comfort, but lose the low-profile fit required for bunk beds. Choose this if you need a standard bed height with targeted back support.
PurrJoys 12-Inch Firm Hybrid Full Mattress
The PurrJoys 12-Inch Firm Hybrid Full Mattress provides 12 inches of height compared to the Serta’s 6 inches. It uses a hybrid construction with memory foam and coils for motion isolation. The Serta Sleeptrue Firm 6 Full relies solely on foam layers. PurrJoys offers better edge support and airflow due to its coil system. It also features CertiPUR-US certification and a cooling gel cover. You trade the compact, lightweight nature of the Serta for a heavier, more robust sleep surface. This alternative suits couples who need motion isolation and firmer support in a full-size bed.
MOLPHIT 12 Inch Firm Hybrid Full Mattress
The MOLPHIT 12 Inch Firm Hybrid Full Mattress offers double the thickness of the Serta Sleeptrue Firm 6 Full. Its hybrid build combines memory foam with coils for sturdy support. The Serta model is pure foam, limiting its support core to a foam base. MOLPHIT provides better motion isolation, making it suitable for couples. It also includes CertiPUR-US certification. The heavier weight of the MOLPHIT makes it less ideal for trundle beds. You gain enhanced spinal alignment and durability. Select this alternative if you prioritize firm support for back or stomach sleeping over a low-profile design.
TitanCore 12 Inch Firm Hybrid Full
The TitanCore 12 Inch Firm Hybrid Full Mattress features 12 inches of height versus the Serta’s 6 inches. It uses pocket springs and foam for durable support. The Serta Sleeptrue Firm 6 Full uses a single foam core. TitanCore offers superior motion isolation and cooling through its hybrid design. It includes CertiPUR-US certification and a cooling gel cover. The increased height and weight make it unsuitable for bunk beds. You get better airflow and partner-friendly motion dampening. Choose this if you need a firm, cooling mattress with robust support in a standard full-size frame.
Zinus 12 Inch Green Tea Cooling Gel Full
The Zinus 12 Inch Green Tea Cooling Gel Full Mattress is twice as thick as the Serta Sleeptrue Firm 6 Full. It uses memory foam with green tea infusion for cooling. The Serta model uses cooling gel swirls in its foam. Zinus offers CertiPUR-US certification and a white cover. It provides better pressure relief due to its 12-inch profile. The Serta is lighter and fits low-profile frames. You trade compactness for enhanced cooling and comfort. This alternative suits average-weight sleepers who want a certified foam mattress with pressure relief in a standard full-size bed.
Novilla 12-Inch Full 5-Zone Hybrid Mattress
The Novilla 12-Inch Full 5-Zone Hybrid Mattress offers 12 inches of height compared to the Serta’s 6 inches. It uses a coil system with five zones for spinal alignment. The Serta Sleeptrue Firm 6 Full relies on uniform foam support. Novilla provides targeted pressure relief and cooling through its hybrid design. It includes a cooling gel cover. The heavier weight and larger size make it unsuitable for trundle beds. You gain superior support for side and back sleepers. Select this if you need firm, zoned support and cooling in a standard full-size bed rather than a compact profile.
