How each alternative compares
EGOHOME 8-Inch Queen Memory Foam Mattress
The EGOHOME 8-Inch Queen Memory Foam Mattress matches the Zinus in thickness and firmness, offering a medium feel. However, it measures 80 inches long instead of 74 inches. This standard length makes it unsuitable for RVs or compact spaces requiring a Short Queen fit. It uses cooling gel in the cover and features green tea infusions similar to the Zinus. You should choose this if you have a standard bed frame and prioritize cooling properties over compact dimensions. The weight is slightly lower at 40 pounds.
MLILY 8-Inch Queen Green Tea Memory Foam Mattress
The MLILY 8-Inch Queen Green Tea Memory Foam Mattress shares the 8-inch height and medium-firm rating. Like the Zinus, it includes green tea infusions for odor control. The key difference is the 80-inch length, which prevents it from fitting Short Queen frames. It features a cotton-rich cover and cooling gel for breathability. This model weighs only 31 pounds, making it lighter than the Zinus. Pick this alternative if you need a standard Queen size with certified safety materials and prefer a lighter mattress that is easier to maneuver during setup.
COOL GEL 8 Inch Twin XL Memory Foam
The COOL GEL 8 Inch Twin XL Memory Foam differs significantly in size, measuring 39 inches wide and 80 inches long. It is not a Short Queen alternative but fits Twin XL beds. It maintains the 8-inch height and medium-firm feel found in the Zinus. This model emphasizes cooling gel for temperature regulation and pressure relief. It is lighter at 38 pounds. Choose this if you are furnishing a dorm or guest room with a Twin XL frame. It offers similar foam construction and safety certifications but serves a completely different sleeping surface dimension.
Aosha 8 Inch Full Memory Foam Mattress
The Aosha 8 Inch Full Memory Foam Mattress provides a 54-inch width and 75-inch length. This is wider than the Short Queen but longer. It shares the 8-inch thickness and medium-firm memory foam construction. The Aosha focuses on orthopedic support and airflow. It weighs 34 pounds, which is lighter than the Zinus. Select this option if you need a Full-size bed for a standard room rather than a compact Short Queen. It delivers comparable firmness and foam quality but accommodates a different bed frame size and offers slightly more width for side sleepers.
EGOHOME 8 Inch Queen Green Tea Foam
The EGOHOME 8 Inch Queen Green Tea Foam matches the Zinus in height, firmness, and green tea infusion. It measures 80 inches long, making it a standard Queen size rather than a Short Queen. This model weighs 49 pounds, making it heavier than the Zinus. It highlights motion isolation and a washable cover for easy maintenance. Opt for this if you need a standard Queen size with breathable materials. It offers similar pressure relief and odor control but lacks the compact length required for RVs or small rooms.
Zinus 8-Inch Short Queen Green Tea Memory Foam Mattress
The Zinus 8-Inch Short Queen Green Tea Memory Foam Mattress is the closest alternative, sharing the same 60-inch width and 74-inch length. It also offers an 8-inch height and medium-firm feel. This model uses green tea infusion instead of the charcoal blend found in the Ultima RV. It weighs 40.2 pounds, slightly lighter than the Ultima RV. Choose this if you want the Short Queen dimensions with a simpler green tea scent profile. It provides the same compact footprint and firmness but omits the specific 7-zone comfort system and charcoal infusions of the original.
